In order to learn to dive, you will
need to join the British Sub-Aqua Club and Whitehill Sub-Aqua Club.
By joining the British Sub Aqua Club,
you will receive initial training material, third party insurance and the
monthly DIVE magazine.
Membership to WSAC enables the club to
operate and service all the equipment required for diving, including the
two
ribs, and on a fortnightly basis, the hire of the local garrison pool for
training.
As the club is non-profitable,
instruction is provided freely by the National Qualified Instructors and
Assistant Instructors.
The BOSC is privately owed, but
provides a heavily subsidised bar, gaming / sports facilities, and carries an
addition membership fee.
